Who we are

Guilds Interactive Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17310400), with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for the limited processing described below.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. DrpDrv has no analytics, no crash or telemetry reporting, and no login or account system of our own. We do not build profiles of players and we have no way to identify an individual player from anything we hold.

Your game progress — high scores, unlocked warps, palettes and settings — is stored as a file on your own device. On Android that file also notes which purchases you own, so the game still works when you are offline. It is not included in Android's device backup, and it is deleted if you uninstall the game.

Some features are provided by Valve (on Steam) or Google (on Android). They collect information under their own privacy policies, not ours. The sections below say what each one does.

Features provided by Steam

When you play DrpDrv through Steam, including the free demo, some features are provided by Valve Corporation rather than by us:

• Cloud saves. Your progress file may be synchronised through Steam Cloud so it follows you between machines.
• Leaderboards. If you submit a score, your score and your Steam persona name are stored on Valve's leaderboard service so other players can see them.
• Achievements. Achievement progress is stored against your Steam account.

This data is held by Valve under Valve's own privacy policy, and is governed by your relationship with Steam. We can see aggregate, anonymous statistics that Valve makes available to developers — for example how many players have unlocked a given achievement — but we cannot see who you are, and we do not receive your email address, payment details or any other account information from Valve.

If you would prefer not to appear on a leaderboard, do not submit a score, or ask Valve to remove your entry through Steam Support.

Advertising on Android (Google AdMob)

The Android version of DrpDrv is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited. You only see an ad if you choose to: at the end of a run, you can watch a short ad to record your score, or skip it. Unlocking the full game removes ads completely.

To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads software in the game collects information from your device and sends it to Google. This includes:

• your device's advertising ID and similar app identifiers;
• your IP address, which can indicate your approximate location;
• device and app information, such as your device model, operating system version and the version of the game;
• ad interactions, such as whether an ad was shown, watched to the end or tapped;
• diagnostic information about how the ad software is performing.

Google uses this to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same one, measure them, and detect fraud and abuse. With your consent, Google may also use it to show ads personalised to your interests. We do not receive this information from Google in any form that identifies you. We only see totals, such as how many ads were shown.

Your choices. If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent message before any ad is requested. Your consent is the legal basis for personalised ads, and you can refuse. You can change your choice at any time from Options → Privacy options in the game. Wherever you are, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings, and manage ad personalisation at My Ad Center. Where consent is not required, we rely on our legitimate interest in funding a free game through advertising.

Google is an independent controller of this data. It may process and store the data outside the UK, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in its own policies. You can find out more in how Google uses information from apps that use its services and in Google's privacy policy.

Purchases on Android (Google Play)

Unlocking the full game, and the optional supporter purchase, are handled entirely by Google Play. Google processes your payment under Google's privacy policy. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details.

When you buy something, or press Restore purchases, the game asks Google Play which of our products your Google account owns. Google replies with the product and a purchase reference. The game uses this to unlock what you bought and to confirm the purchase with Google, and it keeps a note of what you own on your device. We do not store it anywhere else. Google Play also gives us sales reports, which show things like the date, country and price of each purchase. Refunds are handled through Google Play.

Google Play Games (Android)

Where the Android version offers Google Play Games features and you are signed in to Google Play Games, they work much like Steam's:

• Saved games. Your progress file may be stored in your Google account so it follows you between devices.
• Leaderboards. Scores you record are stored with your Play Games profile name and can be seen by other players.
• Achievements. Achievement progress is stored against your Play Games profile.

This data is held by Google under Google's privacy policy. You can manage your Play Games profile, and its visibility, in the Google Play Games settings.

This website

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. All fonts, images and stylesheets are served from this domain.

The trailer is the one exception. It is hosted on YouTube and embedded in the DrpDrv page. When you open that page, your browser contacts YouTube to load the player, so Google receives your IP address and information about your browser and device, and it may store cookies or similar identifiers — particularly if you play the trailer or are signed in to a Google account. We embed it through youtube-nocookie.com, which holds most of that storage back until you press play. What Google does with this data is covered by Google's privacy policy. No other page on this site contacts YouTube, and you can watch the trailer on YouTube directly if you would rather not load it here.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, for the purpose of operating and securing the site. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

If you email us

If you contact us for support or any other reason, we will hold your message and email address for as long as it takes to deal with your query and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you write again. We will not add you to a mailing list and we will not pass your details to anyone else.

Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests — specifically, responding to someone who has chosen to contact us.

Children

Our games are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to it. Because we hold almost nothing, in practice this usually means correspondence you have sent us. Email privacy@guildsinteractive.com and we will respond within one month.

For data held by Valve — leaderboard entries, cloud saves, achievements — please contact Steam Support. For data held by Google — ad data, purchases, Play Games data — use the in-game privacy options, My Ad Center, or your Google account. We cannot access or delete that data for you.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing the text.

16 September 2026. The trailer moved to YouTube and is now embedded on the DrpDrv page, so that page loads content from Google. It used to be served from this site.

15 September 2026. Added the Android version of DrpDrv: advertising through Google AdMob, purchases through Google Play, and Google Play Games. Before this, our games had no advertising. The Steam version is unchanged.
